Competition news

An incredible round...

I was amazed to see how low the scoring was this weekend. The entries were low so it was just a single division competition. The top five were; in fifth Kevin Hayward 39 points, fourth Tony Plumley 39 points, third was Tom Caullay 39 points, second Tim Redman 40 points and first off his four handicap was Mark Boshier with 41 points - under par with those ground conditions is incredible.

For the foreseeable future, we will keep the competitions on the Greenwood until things improve.


 
Tour news

An Australian double...

I’m always interested to see what the tour players are using and what is in their bags. The weekend’s tour winners were Mark Leishman and Lucas Herbert both players putting in the new Callaway and TaylorMade options and at the same time keeping in some trusty fairway woods.
