Winter wheels
Since this late autumn weather is so mild and so dry we are delaying the winter wheel policy.
We will at some point no doubt go to the winter wheels but only when there is an issue with mud or muddy areas, I'd like you to put them on your trollies in preparation but that's up to you, I will try to give you all a fortnights warning if at all possible.
I have one set of Titleist AP1 irons up for a bargain, they are 4-PW XP R300 shafts all still in the srink wrap and yours for £350 save £250 on the RRP
After going round the course on Tuesday it is being presented really well. Russ and the boys are now cutting and shaping the course in what I consider to be the correct way and, all credit to the boys, it looked stunning on Tuesday in the sunshine. I hope it stays dry so you can all see how much it's come on.
This weeks' video is something a little different as it's about the basics of lie angle and why you may need a custom fitted set to suit your swing or your build. I hope to do more videos from the course but it needs to be a calm day?! Wind is the enemy just ask my wife!
We are about to take delivery of the new TaylorMade RSi 1 and RSi 2 irons a fortnight before their UK release. It's the first time in as long as I can remember that a company is not claiming more distance with a new iron release, but that your off centre hits will be straighter and longer with the introduction of their unique face slot technology. Take a look at the video above to see what all the fuss is about!
