At last a beautiful week of golf weather, the green keepers will get a chance to spread another 50 tonnes of bunker sand around the most flood damaged bunkers.

The are still a few more days to enter the club championships the draw will be finalised on Monday.

I know it's a couple of months away for the school holidays but there are dates worth putting on the family calendar as we will be running junior summer camps throughout the summer school holidays. The initial dates are 29th and 30th of July and August 5th, 6th, 12th, 19th and 26th. The cost of each day will be £25, for more information please get in touch with myself or Leyon.

I'd like to congratulate my sister Emma's son Max who, aged 11, won his first adult competition with a gross 81 at Hayling Island Golf Club where Max is a member and has a 15 handicap.

We have high hopes for him as his dad is off scratch and his coach is ex Ryder cup player Steve Richardson. It's a shame my sister has got such big boobs or she would be off scratch too!
