The Mixed Open was played last Sunday with 15 mixed pars playing fourball betterball over the Greenwood Course. 

Our home players did very well with the low handicap pair of Alan Tootle and Jill Pink coming second and the worthy winners being Dawn and Chris Chard. Thank you to all that took part. 




Bernice Dawkins, one of our regular midweek ladies, would like to organise a Christmas lunch one weekend in December probably a Saturday, with the food coming from the restaurants party menu.

Message from Dan the Head Greenkeeper 

Looking at a standard week really in work activity. Only real new work is the proffihopper (small ride-on flail mower) now cutting the few bits of deep rough that the tractor couldn't access. 

However we should soon start to see more germination from over sowing the greens this week into the weekend. They received a good dose of fertiliser Monday. 

We also now have our new rough mower on site, which I'm sure a few have already seen. 




New arrivals this week are the new Cleveland RTX 3 wedges that look and sit beautifully.
