Another perfect week of golfing weather and it looks set fare well into next week.
Tip time and as the greens firm up in this dry weather you all should think about having a go at the lob shot ideally with a 60 degree wedge but your sand iron will work! Take a look at my video and be brave.
The Bogey Cup had a big three-way tie for the win all on +6. In third was TerryNicol, second was JohnBrooks but the winner was the old fox JamesShepherd who took victory with his back nine score. Well done to Jim and all of those who took on the course.
Last chance to enter the Mixed Open as the closing date is the 4th of September. It's open to members and non-members alike and the entry fee includes Coffee and a bacon sandwich, prizes and a meal after the golf. The event itself is on the 18th of September.
