A feast of golf last weekend saw Ariya Jutanugarn became Thailand's first major champion after holding off the challenge of Mirim Lee to win the British Open by three shots at Woburn, and American Jimmy Walker won his first major with a one-shot victory at the US PGA Championship at Baltusrol.

I loved the ladies golf, every male golfer should watch these girls, technically better than most of the men they all seem to putt beautifully and play nearly all their second shots from the fairway because they're not trying to smash it over 300 yards from the tee.

Competition reminder the weekend of the 13th-14th is the Texas Scramble. Try and make up teams of 4 you can play as a 3 but it's much tougher and the 19th-22nd is the Bogey cup on the parkland. 


 

We are all hoping for a good end to the summer and a warm autumn but I'm hedging my bets will a sale on all shirts Puma, Callaway and Under Armour all are reduced!
