Course news

A much more positive week here as I write this there are only 3 of the 36 out of play, as long as Fridays rain isn't to heavy I think the worst is over, he says!

Shop news

As you all start to come out of winter hibernation I have a few offers for you the first one is on Re gripping if you buy 7 grips we will do 3 for free all fitted in a day you will often find that if you have left your clubs in the cold of a garage or shed the rubber will have deteriorated over the winter.

Thought of the week

From time to time we like to share some coaching tips through our newsletters in an effort to help you lower your scores. This week you'll see we're offering some advice on how to effectively escape wet sand - which is somewhat topical, unfortunately.

Being able to adjust to the wintry conditions is a real skill, whether that's playing the ball a little further back in your stance to keep the ball underneath the wind, or adjusting your technique to escape wet sand (below) - so we hope you find these articles useful.

Of course, some one-on-one coaching may be what you need, as we appreciate that putting these tips into practice isn't always that easy, even if they make perfect sense.

We hope you're enjoying your golf no matter what the weather is throwing at you, but do come and see us, or make an enquiry here, if you'd like some assistance. In the meantime, give the tip below a try and next time you end up bunkered in the wet sand, you might not get such a sinking feeling.

Offer of the week RED

The next readers only offer is for any Under Armour product from Gore-Tex rain suits to belts you can have 20% off any in stock item.

Coaching news

If you feel you need that preseason tune up we are going to do 3for2 on all lessons purchased in March it's the right way to improve to have stuff to work on before the season kicks off again. And we can work on any part of your game from using the flightscope to playing the tricky lob shot here is a video from a while back to get you in the mood.

Enjoy the rest of the newsletter and have a great weekend.
