I am writing this on Wednesday morning hoping the golfing gods give us a break with the weather but it does feel like the beginning of the end!

Any of you that were worried about Anna and her burn she has made a really good recovery and her visit to Odstock reassured her and her family that she will make a good recovery with no more treatment.

Lovely to see a Cinderella story this week in the USPGA tour event at Pebble beach as Vaughn Taylor pulled off a shock win he wasn't even in the event until Carl Petterson pulled out the week before he pulled out of a mini tour event in Columbia with food poisoning.

But no more Monday qualifying anymore for Vaughn as his win and 1.2 million dollars secures is card until the end of 2018.

Throughout the week, the CBS broadcast mentioned a robot golf instruction tool Taylor had been using near the driving range at Pebble Beach. That product is called RoboGolfPro. RoboGolfPro is a machine that, when connected to a player's golf club, guides a player through the proper swing techniques. Using the computer power behind it, RoboGolfPro can also guide a player to use the mechanics behind any number of famous swings. An instructor can use RoboGolfPro as a corrective tool, filming a student's swing, analysing it, and then using RoboGolfPro to build in fixes that the student can then immediately feel by using the machine.

The idea is that RoboGolfPro can dramatically cut down the amount of time that it takes for a student to feel what their teacher is trying to get them to do with their swing. At first, the RoboGolfPro guides the player through a proper swing slowly, speeding up each time until a player can feel the motion at full speed.
