I honestly have had enough of talking about the weather but there is no doubt the lighter mornings and evenings have made things a little better fortunately storm Jonas was more wind than rain so as I write this on Tuesday we are open!
Worryingly and exciting at the same time lots more goodies have arrived trial woods and irons from Srixon TaylorMade and Cobra.
An excellent win for Danny Willett in Dubai he really did show character and nerve and looks one of a crop of young Britons to take over from the likes of Westwood Donald and Poulter.
Bare a thought for poor Anna the greenside goddess who by her own admission can trip over air, the poor girl did trip over some air and badly scolded her arm with hot water enough so that she has had to go to Odstock hospital today!
I'm sure she will be fine and will return after half term school holidays... chocolate and wine appreciated apparently!
Don't forget to treat your loved ladies this Mother's day which on the 6th of March the club have a great menu and you know the setting is lovely, I've attached the menu. Just call the club or email Taura taura@easthorton.com if you would like to book.
Enjoy the rest of the newsletter and have a great weekend.
